Poll: 39% of Americans Approve of Trump’s Job Performance
Conducted from March 26 to March 30, 2026 the nonpartisan poll of 1,000 American adults found that President Trump's approval rating has slipped to 39% from 42% from a poll in October 2025.

Key Findings:
- 57% of respondents believe their lives have become somewhat or much more difficult over past six months
- 65% of respondents said the U.S. is spending too much on the war with Iran
- Divided views on immigration: Asked whether the government is doing too much or too little to help migrants find jobs and housing, 37% said too little and 34% said too much.
- Opposition to immigration enforcement measures runs high: 62% of respondents in the latest poll said they would oppose an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention center being built in their community
- 87% of respondents support pursuing criminal investigations of American individuals named in the Epstein files.
