Biosketch
Cindy Cain is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her research is interested in care for people at end of life and people with dementia, especially as care systems, medical knowledge, and legal options change. She uses qualitative and mixed methods approaches to show how these changes affect the lives of care recipients and care workers.
