Seniors Reflect on UMass Lowell Experience

Final exams are over, projects completed and dorm rooms and apartments are being packed up. Diplomas are ready, caps and gowns pressed, parties planned. The Class of 2014 can exhale.
With Commencement approaching, several graduating seniors shared their thoughts about their experiences at UMass Lowell, how they've changed and what comes next.
What's Next for Jessica Tawczynski: The UMass Lowell Painting Award and Scholarship winner has “been able to build a good studio practice, portfolio and community relations while still in school. It already feels like I'm a working artist.”
What's Next for Patrick Raistrick: The concrete canoe team member will pursue his master's degree in Civil Engineering at UMass Lowell.
What's Next for Kimberly Chao: The 2014 Chancellor's Medal for Student Service recipient (shown with advisor Asil Oztekin) has accepted a full-time position with Feeley & Driscoll, a public accounting firm in Boston, and will prepare for the certified public accountant examination.
What's Next for Keith Lewis: The award-winning Track and Field athlete will pursue teaching and coaching opportunities.
What's Next for Ryan Liebel: WUML's co-programming director plans to intern with Mix 104.1 FM Karson & Kennedy drive-time radio program and resume working on Red Sox Spanish language radio broadcasts.
What's Next for Tiffany Blake: Blake, who helped launch the food composting program at UMass Lowell, will attend Tufts University for a master's degree in environmental engineering.
What's Next for James Abdallah: Awarded second prize in UMass Lowell's DifferenceMaker Idea Challenge, Abdallah plans to further develop his business idea while working as a financial analyst at MFS Investment Management, where he had his co-op job.
