UMass Lowell’s Center for Public Opinion recently conducted polls of likely voters in three swing states – New Hampshire, North Carolina and Texas – that offer a total of 57 electoral votes in the presidential election. Voters were asked for their preference on candidates for president, U.S. Senate and governor as well as whether they think Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s successor should be chosen by the current president or whoever wins the Nov. 3 vote. Results from each state offer their own unique look at how voters view the 2020 election.
