Some of the best faculty development happens when colleagues learn from one another. This winter, CELT invites faculty to propose and facilitate one-hour Zoom workshops during the week of Jan. 11–15.
We welcome topics across all areas of faculty interest and expertise. If you have a pedagogical strategy, area of specialization or experience that could benefit colleagues, we would love to help you share it.
We especially encourage collaboration among faculty and across disciplines. Consider partnering with a colleague from your department — or another part of the university — to bring different perspectives and experiences to the conversation. Have a topic you’d like to explore collaboratively but don’t have a partner in mind? CELT can help connect you with a faculty member from another department or college who shares your interest.
Faculty facilitators will receive a $300 stipend for each workshop they facilitate.
Interested? Submit your workshop idea to CELT@uml.edu by Nov. 11. You don’t need to have a fully developed workshop — just an idea or expertise you would like to share. CELT will work with selected faculty to develop the session.
Let’s use the winter break to share what we know, learn from one another and extend the impact of great work happening across our faculty community.
