Do you have gently used or new winter clothing you'd like to see have more life with our students? The Office of Multicultural Affairs is excited to host our annual Winter Clothing Drive.
Help support UMass Lowell students, especially those who may have traveled from warmer climates or anyone in need of cold-weather gear, by donating items in good condition. Starting Oct. 8, we will collect donations in our office from the campus community. Anyone can donate items, and all students are welcome to pick out items they need.
We’re collecting:
- Winter jackets, vests and coats
- Hats
- Scarves
- Mittens or gloves
- Sweaters
- Boots
- Anything else you think would be great during the colder months in Massachusetts
All sizes are encouraged and appreciated.
Drop-off Details
You can bring your donations directly to the Office of Multicultural Affairs, Meehan Student Center, Room 366, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Your generosity will help make winter a little warmer for students. We will collect items throughout the winter if you are still looking to donate.
Student Pickup
Collected items will be available for students to pick up starting Oct. 19 in the Multicultural Affairs Office at the Meehan Student Center, Room 366, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. If you know a student who could benefit, please guide them to our office.
If you have questions, email Stephanie_Garcia@uml.edu. Thank you for helping us keep our community warm this season.
