The 2027–2028 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now available on the Federal Student Aid website. Completing the FAFSA is essential for students to be eligible for federal, state and most institutional financial aid.
Applicants are encouraged to apply early to meet all state and institutional deadlines, which can maximize access to financial aid. The UMass Lowell priority filing deadline is March 1, and the school code is 002161.
