Have you been thinking about resubmitting a grant proposal that was not funded? Is a resubmission worthwhile? How should you interpret reviewer comments?
The Office of Research Development (ORD) is hosting a webinar, Proposal Resubmission: From Review to Revision, on Oct. 20 from 10 – 11:30 a.m. to help faculty develop a strategic plan for revising and resubmitting grant proposals. Please register to attend.
This webinar, open to all faculty, will focus primarily on NIH resubmissions but will address common themes and strategies applicable to any funder. Topics will include how to:
- Understand and interpret reviewer scores and feedback
- Identify critical areas for revision
- Strengthen the proposal’s responsiveness
- Prepare an effective response to reviewers
The session will use real-world examples of reviewer comments to demonstrate how to interpret and address these concerns.
Interested participants will have the opportunity to submit their declined proposal and reviewer summary to ORD and work with an ORD consultant to interpret reviewer comments, identify key areas for improvement and develop responses to reviewer concerns.
