The Independent University Alumni Association at Lowell (IUAAL) scholarship application is now open. IUAAL awards a number of scholarships to support current UMass Lowell students. The scholarships will be awarded during spring 2027; therefore, students must be enrolled at UML for the spring 2027 semester to be considered.
To access the application, students must meet the following criteria:
- Undergraduates: Currently enrolled full-time with a cumulative GPA of 2.7 or higher*
- Graduate students: Currently enrolled in at least 6 credits with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher*
- Must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States.
*The GPA requirement does not apply to new students with first-time enrollment in fall 2026.
Apply for IUAAL scholarships through the Riverhawk Scholarship Portal. The application deadline is Oct. 5, 2026.
