The UMass President’s Office is hosting an upcoming “Know Your Rights” webinar with Susan Church, J.D., chief operating officer for the Office for Refugees and Immigrants for the commonwealth of Massachusetts. This is the eighth “Know Your Rights” webinar.

The webinar will expand on Church’s previous presentations and offer current examples of how immigration enforcement activities may unfold in practice. Participants will receive an overview of the laws and procedures that govern enforcement actions, including when officials must present a warrant or identification, the circumstances under which a vehicle may be stopped, and ways community members can support immigrants and families during potential encounters with authorities.

All interested UMass Lowell students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend.

Please note: Registration is required, and a UMass email address must be provided. You only need to register for one session; content will be the same.
