Join the UMass Lowell community for a special Homecoming event on Friday, Oct. 16, and Saturday, Oct. 17, welcoming pickleball players ages 18 and older. 

Register for the tournament. Proceeds will benefit the UMass Lowell STRIVE Food Pantry, the Student Pickleball Club and the Campus Recreation Center.

What is STRIVE?

As UMass Lowell River Hawks, students strive to meet their academic goals while often facing challenges in meeting basic needs, including access to food, housing, books and other resources. STRIVE is committed to supporting students through access to food, housing and additional resources needed to succeed and meet their academic goals at UMass Lowell.

Event Details

  • When:
    • Friday, Oct. 16:
      • Ages 55 and older mixed brackets: 3 – 5:30 p.m.
      • Any-age mixed brackets: 5:30 – 9 p.m.
    • Saturday, Oct. 17:
      • Men’s and women’s brackets: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Where: Outdoors at the UMass Lowell Complex Tennis Courts 1 and 2, featuring eight pickleball courts
  • Rain plan: The tournament will move indoors to the Campus Recreation courts.
  • Who: Anyone age 18 and older who is friendly, open and ready to have fun.

Whether you are a seasoned player or new to the sport, we invite you to join us for a fun-filled Homecoming celebration supporting important UMass Lowell student programs.
