The Office of Research Development invites the UMass Lowell community to attend two upcoming webinars highlighting tools that can support your research, funding searches and institutional reporting efforts.

GrantForward: Search Smarter for Research Funding

  • Date: Tuesday, Sept. 29
  • Time: 11 a.m. – noon

GrantForward is a search engine dedicated to helping institutions and individuals find grants to fund their research and scholarship. A GrantForward representative will provide an overview of the platform, including how to search and filter opportunities, create or update your researcher profile, identify potential collaborators and set up personalized email notifications. This session is open to faculty, staff and students.

Streamline Research Discovery and Reporting with Dimensions

  • Date: Wednesday, Sept. 30
  • Time: 1 – 2 p.m.

Dimensions is an interlinked research database that brings together publications, awarded grants, datasets, clinical trials, patents and policy documents. During this session, Dimensions representatives will demonstrate how you can use the platform to search research activity, explore emerging trends, and find research data to prepare promotion and tenure packages and other reporting needs. This session will be most relevant for faculty. This session is co-sponsored with the University Library.
