Being protected against the flu benefits you, your family, friends and the entire UML community.
We are pleased to announce that seasonal flu vaccine clinics will be held at the Meehan Student Center on the following dates and times, except where noted:
- Tuesday, Sept. 15: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- Wednesday, Oct. 7: 12:30 – 2:30 p.m.
- Friday, Oct. 16: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. This clinic will be held at the CRC as part of the Employee Wellness Fair.
- Tuesday, Oct. 20: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- Tuesday, Oct. 27: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- Thursday, Oct. 29: 12:30 – 2:30 p.m.
- Monday, Nov. 2: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Who Can Get Vaccinated?
Flu vaccine clinics are open to all UML community members 18 years of age and older.
High-dose flu vaccines will be available for individuals over 65 years of age. An appointment is required for the high-dose vaccine to ensure availability. For more information about the high-dose vaccine, visit the CDC website.
Appointments are not required for the regular-dose flu vaccine, which is recommended for most people. Walk-ins are welcome.
What to Bring
Those wishing to receive a flu vaccine must bring:
- Your UML ID
- Your insurance card so that your insurance can be billed
- A completed consent form providing the information needed to bill your insurance and administer the vaccine
If you choose to pay out of pocket, the cost is:
- Regular-dose flu vaccine: $45
- High-dose flu vaccine: $89
Payment can be made by cash or check.
