Harnessing Diet to Reshape the Microbiome and Improve Outcomes: Lessons from Two Clinical Trials in Pregnant Women and Puerto Ricans with IBD

Diet is one of the most powerful and modifiable factors shaping the gut microbiome. Dr. Maldonado-Contreras will share findings from two clinical trials exploring how perinatal and culturally tailored dietary interventions can improve maternal and pregnancy outcomes, infant microbiome development, diet quality and quality of life among Puerto Rican patients with IBD.
