The English Department and the College of Fine Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences announce a talk by Burlington, Mass. occupational therapist Jennifer Papasodoro:
“Handwriting’s Relevance in 2026 and Why It Should Still Be Taught”

This one-hour presentation, open to the university and local communities, will discuss changes in handwriting instruction in the past 15 years and how they have been observed to affect overall learning and development.
Jennifer Papasodoro, OT, has been an occupational therapist for 36 years, graduating from Boston University in 1990. Jen specialized in adult and young adult brain injury rehabilitation for the first part of her career before moving into pediatrics in public schools and the private clinic setting, and ultimately parent coaching. She is the co-founder of The OT Parent Coaches. Jen is also a Certified Handwriting Tutor for the Handwriting Without Tears curriculum. Jen and her husband live outside of Boston, Mass., and they have two young adult children, a son and a daughter, who also live in New England.
