Congratulations to Plastics Engineering Professor Margaret (Meg) Sobkowicz Kline for being elected a 2026 Fellow of the Society by the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE). Sobkowicz Kline received her award at the SPE Annual Technical Conference (ANTEC) in March and joins the ranks of 377 distinguished SPE members.
Sobkowicz Kline is a leader in polymer processing, sustainability, and circular economy research and education efforts. She has developed innovative methods for mechanochemical recycling, reactive compatibilization and high-speed extrusion. Other research has focused on reactive extrusion, polymer recycling, biobased polymers and advanced processing for sustainability.
