Move-In Day is this Friday, Aug. 28, and we are excited to welcome approximately 4,300 residential students to campus. With this activity, the campus community should expect increased traffic, temporary traffic pattern changes and parking limitations throughout the day.
East Campus will experience the highest volume of Move-In Day activity. Multiple streets on East Campus will follow temporary one-way traffic patterns or will be used specifically for student unloading. The East Campus Garage, Hall Street Garage and Fox Lot will be reserved for Move-In Day operations and will not be available for regular parking between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Staff lots on East Campus will remain available, but traffic may limit easy access in and out of these areas.
North Campus and South Campus student parking areas will also see increased traffic as students relocate vehicles after unloading. This includes the Riverside Lot, Broadway Street Lot and South Campus Garage.
