Join Jessy Abramson and Victoria Barbeisch from the Career & Co-op Center to discuss the gap between how well students perceive they articulate their career skills and employers’ perceptions of career readiness.

This virtual conversation, taking place via Zoom on Aug. 26, 1 – 2 p.m., seeks to bridge that gap and share how students can best articulate the skills and knowledge they have to offer, and how faculty and staff can support students in these efforts. This event will incorporate insights gathered by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), as well as tools, resources and a free communication toolkit to help students bridge the gap effectively on paper, in interviews and as they build a stronger professional network.

Jessy and Victoria will also share information about the Career Champions Community, which the Career & Co-op Center hosts to bring together faculty and staff to discuss career development topics relevant to UMass Lowell students.

Register to participate via Zoom on Aug. 26, 1 – 2 p.m.
