The Career & Co-op Center team is excited to offer faculty and staff an opportunity to learn more about PathwayU, our new career exploration and assessment platform, which has replaced FOCUS 2. PathwayU offers a dynamic, personalized approach to career exploration by helping students better understand how their interests, values, personality and preferred work environments connect to meaningful academic and career pathways.
Whether you advise students, teach courses or simply enjoy supporting students as they navigate important decisions, PathwayU is a valuable resource that can enrich those conversations.
To help you become familiar with the platform, the Career & Co-op Center will offer two virtual training sessions. During these sessions, we will:
- Introduce the features and benefits of PathwayU
- Demonstrate how to navigate and interpret assessment results
- Share ideas for incorporating PathwayU into advising, teaching and student engagement
- Answer your questions and provide helpful resources
Virtual Training Sessions
- Session 1: Tuesday, August 25, 2026, 2 – 3 p.m. Register for Session 1 on Zoom.
- Session 2: Friday, August 28, 2026, 10 – 11 a.m. Register for Session 2 on Zoom.
We encourage you to complete your own PathwayU assessment before attending one of the training sessions. Experiencing the platform firsthand will make the training more meaningful and give you a better sense of what students will see as they explore their own career journeys. You can access PathwayU now on the Career & Co-op Center website. You may even discover something new about yourself along the way.
