We are especially interested in proposals from faculty teaching courses such as capstones, senior seminars, project-based courses and courses with an experiential learning focus. These mini-grants are intended to support faculty in revising required courses so they can qualify for a career-connected experience (CCE) designation, expanding students’ access to meaningful career-connected learning as part of the curriculum.
Selected faculty will receive a $3,000 mini-grant to revise a course so that it more intentionally incorporates a career-connected experience. This might include, for example, integrating industry-informed projects, portfolio development, public-facing work, alumni or employer engagement, reflection on transferable skills, career exploration tied to disciplinary learning, or other approaches that help students connect their coursework to future pathways.
We welcome creative proposals from across the university. While we welcome interest from all areas, we are especially eager to support courses in disciplines where career-connected learning may be less consistently built into the curriculum. Please fill out this application by May 1, 2026.
Faculty selected for the mini-grant will be expected to implement the revised course in Fall 2026, Spring 2027, or Fall 2027 and to share what they learn so that the work can help inform future CCE efforts across campus.
We hope you will consider applying.
