As the campus community prepares for the long holiday weekend, Facilities Management would like your help conserving energy. Small conservation efforts during this period help reduce UMass Lowell's environmental impact and avoid unnecessary operational costs.

Before departing for the long holiday weekend, please make an extra effort to:  

• Turn off all lights
• Close windows and lower blinds, shades, and curtains
• Shutdown and unplug unused electrical equipment around your workspace, including:
o Computers, speakers, printers, copy machines
o Desk lights, Cell phone, and miscellaneous chargers
o Microwaves, Coffee Pots

In lab spaces, please close all lab hoods that are not in use.
