Please join me in celebrating the leadership and dedication of Provost Joe Hartman, who has served as UMass Lowell’s provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs since 2019. Prior to this role, Joe spent six years as dean of the Francis College of Engineering. In November, he was appointed president and CEO of the UMass Lowell Applied Research Corporation.
On June 1, Joe will begin his next chapter as president of Western New England University.
