The Office of Research Development (ORD) offers several internal funding opportunities to support faculty in advancing their research and scholarship. Applications are currently open for the Researchers and Scholars Investment (RSI) Fund.
As of April 2026, the RSI Fund is no longer prioritizing funding for applicants whose research activities have been disrupted by federal funding cuts.
All eligible applicants, regardless of whether they have been affected by a terminated federal grant, are now encouraged to apply. Please carefully review the full eligibility guidelines and proposal requirements by downloading the solicitation on InfoReady under “Supporting Documents”. Please also review the guidelines for all ORD-sponsored funding.
The Office of Research Development intends to fund up to four remaining RSI Fund awards in FY26. Awards are up to $5,000 per project for a one-year project period.
Applications will be accepted through InfoReady until May 1, 2026. Funded projects will commence in June 2026.
