The Department of World Languages and Cultures final screening for RESILIENCE: A Film Series this Spring, with the screening of "Black Orpheus"

Join us for a screening of Black Orpheus (1959), a stunning reimagining of the Orpheus and Eurydice myth set during Carnival in Rio de Janeiro. Featuring a legendary soundtrack by Antônio Carlos Jobim and Luiz Bonfá, this classic remains one of Brazil’s most beloved films.
