One of the many essential teams that make UMass Lowell exceptional, these colleagues often work behind the scenes, responding around the clock to emergencies, maintaining essential systems and addressing issues before most of us even know there is a problem. Their work is foundational to our university’s success.
This event is part of the broader UML Team Time initiative, which creates opportunities for faculty and staff to connect, recharge and build community throughout the year. While individual events may focus on specific teams or groups, the goal remains the same: to strengthen morale and recognize the many contributions that make UMass Lowell exceptional.
Employees who are part of the Operations & Support teams — including our colleagues in facilities, public safety, information technology, administrative services and other operational and support roles — should refer to the email invitation sent on Friday, Feb. 20 for details and registration information for the appreciation breakfast.
All members of the campus community are encouraged to submit notes of appreciation via this submission form recognizing colleagues in these areas. Messages will be displayed during the event.
This event reflects a broader commitment to celebrating the people who power UMass Lowell each day. In the months ahead, we will continue to spotlight and recognize the many individuals and teams across the university whose talent, dedication and hard work strengthen our community and drive our success.
Please join us in thanking these colleagues for the essential work they do in support of our students and our mission.
