What are the best ways to publish and share your research online for maximum impact? How can early preparation make it easier to create reusable and shareable data?

Join us on March 5 from 1-2 p.m. for a virtual workshop hosted by the Office of Research Development and the UMass Lowell Library. We will cover the principles of data management, with a goal towards creating publicly shareable datasets to meet common funder requirements. Learn about data management tools and guidelines, as well as the alphabet soup of Open Researcher and Contributor IDs (ORCIDs), Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs), and Data Management Plans (DMPs). We’ll end with introducing UML’s brand new repository, UML RAD (Research, Archives and Data), which is a public, open access digital archive for campus scholarship.

The workshop will be led by University Library staff:

  • Amanda Rust, Director of Research & Learning
  • Nikki Tantum, Digital Initiatives Archivist

Please register to attend the workshop.
