The New England Consortium (TNEC) at UMass Lowell is hosting a hybrid 40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) Hazardous Waste Site Worker course during Spring Break-March 9 - 13, 2026.
The 40-Hr HAZWOPER certification course can greatly benefit UML students when applying for jobs and/or internships.
UML students and faculty receive a significant discount for the 40-Hr HAZWOPER Certification course. The 40-HR course is regularly $650. For UML students and faculty, the cost is only $125.
