The City of Lowell is seeking volunteers for various shifts for Winterfest on Saturday, Feb. 28 from noon to 10 p.m..

Celebrate winter with a full day of family-friendly fun! Events include: chocolate festival (11 a.m.–4 p.m.), outdoor curling and LED air hockey, the Richard Rourke Soup Competition (noon–2 p.m.), live music (noon–10 p.m.), artisan market (noon–8 p.m.), a fold-a-Lowla workshop (12:30–2:30 p.m.), Buddy Valastro’s bakery showcase (3–6 p.m.), ice carving, fire performances, interactive art, a scavenger hunt, youth mural competition, food trucks, and more.
