Join alumni Daniel E. Levenson for a discussion about the growing challenges posed by extremists and terrorists through the use of social media — particularly as artificial intelligence (AI) becomes more deeply embedded in everyday technology. This presentation will provide a comprehensive overview of the current and anticipated future malicious uses of AI by bad actors and what we can do collectively to help detect and deter these efforts.

Daniel E. Levenson, Director, Combined Jewish Philanthropies Communal Security Initiative, is a member of the FBI Boston Mass Bay Threat Assessment Team, the FBI Boston Community Engagement Council, and MACA (the Massachusetts Association of Crime Analysts). He has served as a Committee Chair for the New England Board of ATAP (Association of Threat Assessment Professionals) and is a member of the Governing Board of the Society for Terrorism Research.
