RESILIENCE: A Film Series – Spring 2026

The Department of World Languages and Cultures continues RESILIENCE: A Film Series this Spring with the screening of “Alternative Facts: The Lies of Executive Order 9066.”

Thursday, Feb. 19
4 p.m.
Coburn Hall, Room 255

February 19 marks the 84th anniversary of Executive Order 9066, a moment that changed the lives of more than 120,000 Japanese Americans during World War II. This documentary uncovers the misinformation and political manipulation that led to mass incarceration and draws critical connections to challenges we continue to face today.

Join us to reflect on history and engage in meaningful conversation about justice, democracy, and human rights.
