UMass Lowell’s Bachelor of Science (BS) in Nursing program and Master of Sciences in Nursing program are scheduled for the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) 10-year re-accreditation review.

Our on-site evaluation visit is scheduled for March, 23-25, 2026.

Per CCNE procedures, I am announcing the opportunity for you to submit written comments related to UMass Lowell’s nursing programs' qualifications for accreditation status. Please note that written and signed third party comments will be accepted by CCNE up to 21 days prior to the evaluation visit which is March 2, 2026.

All comments should be emailed to ThirdPartyComments@ccneaccreditation.org
