Prefer to host your own Kids Week event?
Events may take place during the day or evening and should be held in Lowell – either in your space, a free space provided by another organization, or virtually via a platform like Zoom or Webex. All events must be offered free of charge. Traditionally, the target age range for Kids Week activities has been ages 4-12, but we are open to programs for toddlers and teenagers as well. We always ask that children under the age of 16 be accompanied by an adult.
In previous years, Kids Week events have included arts and crafts, games, performances, sports, workshops and more. Attendance at drop-in activities during Kids Week varies but is often very successful. You can also choose to set limits to your activities and require registration. You are responsible for how your organization will handle reservations or registrations. You are welcome to hand out organizational information or promotional materials during your event as well.
To host a Lowell Kids Week event at your location, fill out this online event formby Jan. 9.
If you have questions about hosting your own event, you can email Ainslee_Moorehead@nps.gov and Nadia_Peattie@nps.gov.
