We are pleased to announce the launch of NEOED, the university’s new online performance management system. This platform will streamline the performance evaluation process, making it easier for managers and employees to set goals, track progress, and complete reviews all in one centralized, user-friendly system.

This long-anticipated initiative represents both an investment in our people and a commitment to the university’s mission to cultivate an environment where everyone is empowered to excel.

In the coming weeks, managers will receive a login invitation to NEOED along with instructions and a job aid to kick off the start of the process. Training sessions will be offered to ensure all users can comfortably engage with the system.

The performance management cycle for staff begins each year in April. For this cycle, the evaluation period is April 1, 2025, through March 31, 2026. Completing performance evaluations is essential for ongoing feedback, recognizing employee contributions, and identifying opportunities for development and engagement.

Managers and supervisors are encouraged to focus evaluations on employee accomplishments and goals, while reflecting on the successes and challenges of the past year. Consider questions such as:

  • What have we learned from this year’s challenges?
  • What changes or improvements should we continue moving forward?
  • How can we collaborate to build on our successes?

The Performance Management Reference Guide, timeline and training documents will be available on the Human Resources website.

If you have any questions, need help, or require more time to complete evaluations, please contact AskHR. We are committed to supporting a successful process for all.
