Greetings River Hawk Students!

The UML Strive Program is dedicated to ensuring that all students have access to essential resources when facing challenges with basic needs. One of our key supports is the Strive Pantry, which provides food, personal care items, toiletries, and school supplies to students experiencing food insecurity or hunger. Visit the Strive website to learn more about our resources.

In addition, Strive oversees the Support Our Students (S.O.S.) Meal Swipe Program, originally a DifferenceMaker winning project created by fellow students. Through S.O.S., we’re able to offer emergency meal swipes to students in need, giving them access to the university dining halls.

To keep this important program running, we rely on students with meal plans to donate one or two guest meal swipes each semester.

National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week: November 17 – 23

Join UML Strive at our tabling events in Fox and South Campus Dining Commons during the week!

Come by to play trivia, learn more about food access resources, and donate a guest meal swipe to support fellow River Hawks.

Together, we can make a difference and ensure no student goes hungry.
