Everyone is invited to the Department of Plastics Engineering Recycling Party to be held in Ball Hall 101, 114, and 116, on Tuesday, November 4 from 5-7 p.m.
Bring Your Own CLEAN Plastic #2 and #4 to Recycle!
Meet Plastics Engineering students, faculty and staff, grind – densify – color – extrude! Create Plastic Sculptures!! Get Hands-on With Equipment!
Examples of #2 - LDPE Film: Bags, bubble wrap, shrink film.
Examples of #4 - HDPE Bottles: Milk jugs, detergent bottles, jugs and drums.
Prepare your plastic to recycle:
- Triple rinse and dry bottles
- Scrape off paper labels
- Cut paper labels from film
- Wet and dirty material cannot be used.
PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED FOR THE MOST PLASTIC FILM AND BOTTLES RECYCLED!
