With the Nobel Prize going to quantum science this month, the topic of the Kennedy College of Sciences (KCS) “Conversation Starter” this semester couldn’t be better!!

Join us on Wednesday, November 19 from 3-6 p.m. in Alumni Hall for "Tiny Science - Big Impact: Exploring Quantum and Nanoworlds.”

Expect to learn about the remarkable advances and real-world applications emerging from research across UMass Lowell in the quantum and nanoscale!

Not sure what quantum or nanoworlds are? Then this is ideal for you!

"Conversation Starters” are once-a-semester events from the Kennedy College of Sciences aimed at getting everyone thinking about science innovations in both expert and lay-terms. No prior expertise is required, just an interest in exploring how science can make a big impact!

A reception will follow the program, providing an opportunity to continue the conversation and connect with colleagues and speakers.

Grad student, faculty and staff-friendly.
