You are cordially invited to the Rist Institute for Sustainability and Energy's Open House and Collaboration Showcase! The Institute's goal is to conduct research, education, and outreach on sustainability and energy. Register to attend the open house and join us to learn about the work and partnerships of the Center for Energy Innovation and the Climate Change Initiative.

The facilities tour will include laboratories demonstrating cutting-edge research related to solar and wind energy, hydrogen, combustion, fuel synthesis, energy storage, plasma technology, structural health monitoring, buildings efficiency, sustainable materials, and our 1MW nuclear research reactor**.

Following the tours, please join us for a cocktail reception with keynote presentations from Jonathan Schrag, the Massachusetts Deputy Climate Chief and Director of Investment for Decarbonization & Resilience, and from Laney Brown, the Vice President of Sustainability at Avangrid, Inc.

*Note: The Radiation Laboratory reactor tour is currently booked to capacity; please email Kelly_Craig@uml.edu if you are interested in joining a supplemental tour of the reactor for UMass Lowell faculty, staff, or students on Friday, Nov. 7.
