Part 1 - Faculty Panel: Monday, October 27, 2025 from 2 - 3 p.m.
Part 2 - Interactive Workshop and Idea Development, Wednesday, December 3, 2025 from 3 - 4 p.m.
(Faculty may attend both or one session, all sessions are remote.)
This two-part webinar series is offered to faculty from three Massachusetts institutions; Framingham State University, Northern Essex Community College and the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Designed as a cross-institutional collaboration open to all three participating schools, this series aims to highlight achievable ways faculty might engage with generative (GenAI) for teaching and learning as well as provide some lessons learned from the process.
The webinar series will be facilitated by Lance Eaton, Senior Associate Director of AI in Teaching and Learning at Northeastern University.
The first session features CA-ROTEL faculty grant recipients, sharing short presentations, followed by a panel discussion. Faculty presenters will share their experiences integrating AI-readiness into their curricula, showcase AI applications they've developed for their courses, and discuss implementation strategies across different disciplines.
The second session shifts the spotlight to participants, inviting them to share their AI integration goals and ideas. This hands-on, workshop-style format fosters a supportive, collaborative environment where faculty can explore possibilities and develop concrete, personalized plans for incorporating AI into their teaching.
