Let’s celebrate together!
Join us on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2025, at 6 p.m. for the UMass Lowell Labor Education Program’s 30th Anniversary Celebration!
For three decades, the UMass Lowell Labor Education Program has provided training, education, and organizational development throughout the Merrimack Valley and across the Commonwealth. Join us for dinner, entertainment, and a cash bar as we celebrate our program’s history and community from 6 to 8 p.m. at University Crossing on the UMass Lowell campus.
As part of the evening’s festivities, guests will be the first to view the new Lowell Labor History Traveling Exhibit, co-sponsored by the Merrimack Valley Central Labor Council and the Labor Education Program. Distinguished Professor Bob Forrant, the exhibit’s chief project designer, will offer remarks and reflections on the project.
The evening will also feature keynote remarks from American Federation of Teachers Massachusetts President Jessica Tang, who will share her insights on the labor movement and democracy today.
