Human Resources (HR) is pleased to announce the launch of a new platform that starting today is streamlining communications with the Human Resources department.
“AskHR” is a secure, easy-to-use tool guiding all UMass Lowell employees with questions about benefits, payroll, compensation, vacation, retirement or any other area handled by our HR department.
“AskHR” is online and replaces the generic email addresses that employees previously used to seek answers to questions.
We’re excited about “AskHR” and its benefits including:
- Ease of Use: Your Human Resources department is available anytime, and not just from your work desktop. As long as you can connect to the UMass Lowell network, you can “AskHR.”
- Track Your Question: No more guessing about who handles what, or what happened to your question. Through “AskHR,” employees can track their cases, receive updates and follow up.
- Quicker Response: “AskHR” is designed to make the Human Resources department more efficient by ensuring requests are placed with the right people in the first place. This should mean faster response times for employees.
The Human Resources team has worked hard for many months to plan and implement this system, coordinating with partners throughout the university. I am grateful to everyone who has played a part in this effort.
