Dear UMass Lowell Undergraduate Students,
Are you interested in exploring the world of AI Chatbot and its potential to enhance optimism and mental well-being? We are excited to announce a research study at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, designed to explore the relationship between AI Chatbot engagement and mental well-being outcomes among college students.
Who Can Participate?
- At least 18 years old.
- A full-time undergraduate student at UML.
- No prior participation in a similar AI-chatbot mental health study.
- Not currently (within the past 28 days) receiving treatment with antidepressants, antipsychotic medications, or psychosocial therapies
- If you pass our pre-screening procedure, you will be invited to the AI Chatbot study.
Why Join?
- Contribute to research on mental health interventions.
- Experience AI Chatbot.
- Receive a total of $50 in e-gift cards upon completing the program.
Study Details:
This research project uses AI Chatbot intervention sessions, each lasting 30 minutes, once a week for four weeks in the lab. You’ll need to fill out a survey two times, taking about 10-15 minutes each time. Your participation will help us understand the effectiveness of AI Chatbot in enhancing optimism and improving mental well-being indicators.
