The Office of Research Development (ORD) has several open internal funding opportunities, and we’re here to help you land seed funding for your next project! Join us for our webinar on Thursday, Oct. 2 from 2 to 3 p.m. to learn more about these programs including eligibility, guidelines, proposal requirements, and tips for submitting a competitive proposal. In the session, ORD will cover the following:
Community-Engaged Research and Scholarship Fund
- Supports the creation and sustenance of strong, mutually beneficial relationships with the community.
- Award size and duration: $10,000; 18 months
- Proposal deadline: Monday, Oct. 27, 2025 at 11:59 p.m.
- Supports research projects that were submitted for external funding but not funded, and that would be more competitive on resubmission with additional data, proof of concept, or proposal support.
- Award size and duration: $1,000; 12 months
- Proposal deadline: Rolling
Researchers and Scholars Investment (RSI) Fund
- Supports faculty in their professional trajectory by providing immediate assistance for short-term projects and goals.
- Award size and duration: $5,000; 12 months
- Proposal deadline: Rolling
