Mental Health First Aid is an eight-hour course that teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders.
The training gives you the skills you need to provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis.
Training Dates
- Oct. 9, 2025 from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. in Coburn 255
- March 10 AND 12, 2026 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. in University Crossing 421
- June 2, 2026 from 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. in Southwick 240
Use the Mental Health First Aid Training Registration Form to sign up for one of the training sessions.
Training is available to UMass Lowell faculty, staff and students.
