CCRE's Community Thursdays Series is back for the 2025-2026 academic year!

Join the Center for Community Research & Engagement for our Community Thursdays event coming soon on Thursday, Sept. 25 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at 150 Wilder St. Our featured organization is the New American Association of Massachusetts (NAAM),  a valued organization in Lowell that provides critical support to refugees and immigrants across Massachusetts. NAAM offers English language training, employment and legal services, youth programs, vocational training, and trauma-informed care — all designed to help refugees and immigrants build stable, fulfilling lives in the United States.

Faculty, staff, and students are invited to learn more about the vital work of NAAM and the types of collaborations they are interested in forming with our UML community.

There are amazing people doing important work in our community, both on and off campus. Join us for this informal conversation to talk about how we can support each other and collaborate to improve the lives of everyone in our community.
