In just two decades, Lowell, Massachusetts, grew from a farming community of fewer than 200 residents into one of the largest cities in the state and a hub of global attention. Historian Richard Howe Jr. will share the fascinating story of this remarkable transformation.

Richard Howe Jr. is the former Register of Deeds for the Middlesex North District, the author of several books on Lowell history, and the founder of richardhowe.com, a website that has covered Lowell politics and history since 2007.

Free and open to the public.
