UMass Lowell has a presence on Halo, a platform where researchers can discover industry-sponsored funding opportunities, connect with corporate R&D teams, and showcase their work to potential partners. Join the Office of Research Development on Tuesday, May 13 from 11 a.m. – noon EST to learn about using the platform and UML’s participation in Emerge, a program supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF), run through Halo.
Kerry Pucillo, Senior Director of Corporate Engagement, in the Office of Advancement will also join to provide an overview of existing corporate relationships with UML and the process for initiating strategic partnerships for research.
Register for the Connecting with Community Partners webinar.
In the meantime, you should create a free Halo account. This will allow you to:
• Receive updates on relevant partnership opportunities from industry sponsors based on your profile.
• Explore funding calls and research challenges tailored to your expertise, and apply for opportunities.
• Engage with companies looking for academic collaborators.
Please email RD@uml.edu for any questions. Thank you.
