Join the University Library and Pollard Memorial Library for a free screening of “Free For All: Inside the Public Library.” This documentary tells the story of the quiet revolutionaries who made a simple idea happen. From the pioneering women behind the “Free Library Movement” to today's librarians who service the public despite working in a contentious age of closures and book bans, meet those who created a civic institution where everything is free and the doors are open to all.
During the screening there will be two opportunities to share your thoughts about libraries and books!
O’Leary Library, Room 222
April 8 from 6-8 p.m.
