“What We Tried to Bury Grows Here” with Author Julian Zabalbeascoa

Join us for an engaging virtual discussion with Julian Zabalbeascoa, author of “What We Tried to Bury Grows Here,” associate director and visiting professor in the Honors College at UMass Lowell. Recognized as a "stellar new release" by The New York Times, this novel brings the history of the Spanish Civil War to life. Julian will share excerpts from his work and discuss his writing process. The conversation will be moderated by Jenifer Whitten-Woodring, dean of the Honors College.
