Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition Registration Deadline Extended to 2/28

The registration deadline for the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition at UMass Lowell has been extended! Graduate students interested in participating must register and submit an abstract via InfoReady by to Friday, February 28 at 10 a.m.

The first 3MT competition at UML will be held later this semester (prelim on March 28 and finals on April 4). The program is designed to help graduate students explain their research in a succinct and compelling way to general, non-specialist audiences. For more information, students may view the recording of the last info session.

All students who register for the competition will receive a Zoom link to attend the participant training session on Friday, February 28 from 3-5 p.m. The session will be recorded for anyone unable to attend, but we highly encourage students to join live if possible.
