Join UMass Lowell history Professor Robert Forrant for a brief talk about the role of St. Anne’s Church in Lowell in the anti-slavery movement and the Underground Railroad (which included freedom-seekers hiding in the church's rectory).
Time: 2 p.m.
Where: Chapel at St. Anne's Church, 8 Kirk St., Lowell
There will be a Q&A as well as participation from the National Parks Service.
